A graduate of the Juilliard School, Alessandro studied with the world’s only Grammy Award Winning Organist, Paul Jacobs. His unique sound and unparalleled talent has seen this Australian organist perform as soloist and collaborator throughout Australia, the UK and the USA.
Alessandro currently resides in Perth, Western Australia, where he his Artist in Residence at the Uniting Church in the City. With his music story is ever-evolving, Pittorino has gained a reputation as a sorted after choral director and orchestral conductor. He is known for his innovative music projects and engaging programs, often injecting new life into beloved classical works.
Alessandro also serves as teacher of organ at the University of Western Australia, and has quickly gained a reputation as being an innovative and motivating teacher. His students have gone on to study at institutitions like Yale University and Oxford University, and he delights in finding each unique voice in his students.
